There’s nothing better than fresh berries and vegetables, straight from your own garden – or even better, from your local farmer! I’m pretty sure I will never taste better strawberries than I got to taste a couple of days ago. They came straight from the farm of Hästö (Hästön maatila), from the Western Finland. This farm is located near to my cottage and I always buy their vegetables from the grocery store during summer. I love supporting local farmers – you got amazing, fresh products and you know exactly where your food comes from.
But back to the strawberries – they were S O G O O D! So sweet, so tasty. And I’m supposed to eat some tasteless and watery strawberries whole autumn and winter? (I’m not sure if it would be better to just forget those berries coming from the foreign countries and wait the next summer.)
